Hove road learning sample
Use one anchor road to organise Hangleton.
This Hove example shows a different memory pattern from Westdene: one strong anchor road with several verified connections, followed by useful destination-road associations.
Anchor
Put Hangleton Way in the middle.
Start with Hangleton Way, then add three roads that the verified Hove curriculum records as connecting with it.
Destinations
Now place three destinations.
Hangleton Library
Learn this destination with West Way.
Hangleton Primary School
Learn this destination with Dale View.
King's School
Learn this destination with Hangleton Way.
Notice that Hangleton Library introduces West Way even though West Way is not one of the four public sample roads above. That is deliberate: destination recall should expand the network gradually instead of forcing a whole area into one session.
Recall drill
Answer in both directions.
- Road → connection“Hangleton Way connects with…?”
- Destination → road“Hangleton Primary School is on…?”
- Road → destination“Which sample destination is associated with Dale View?”
Source discipline
A selected sample from verified curriculum.
The examples on this page are drawn from Brighton Taxi Knowledge curriculum records checked by 21 August 2026. They are deliberately a small public sample, not a complete road, place, safeguarding, road-sign or route syllabus. Requirements and local facts can change, so authoritative sources are linked below.

Premium boundary
This is the public sample, not the full course.
Premium contains all eight Hove training areas in the current course scope, their wider road/place coverage, Practice and Hove mock preparation. This page exposes only one small Hangleton learning pattern.
